Hi Marv, Alan, I installed the 2.6.18.8 kernel. I installed suse-10-2a and was quite gratified when wvdialconf found the modem. But I get a massive crash when I run wvdial. It contacts the modem, dials the number and then it dumps. When I'm booting up, I get a message "FATAL Martian Modem not found" or something like that. I did try to install the martian modem some weeks ago. Maybe I didn't clean it up right? Please advise. Thanks again for the help!!!
