Pablo,

The alsa libs are used in the compilation of slmodemd
So if you replace all the alsa libs with version 1.0.15rc2,
you could than compile your own slmodem with 1.0.15rc2 capabilities
This may solve the problem.

Note that the ALSA competent slmodem MUST be compiled within the
slmodem modem/  subfolder with commands:
$ cd modem/
$ make clean
$ make  SUPPORT_ALSA=1
$ sudo chown  root:root  slmodemd
$ sudo  mv  /usr/sbin/slmodemd  /usr/sbin/slmodemd.old
$ sudo  cp   -a   slmodemd  /usr/sbin/

Then retest
