The /proc/asound files only have audio data.
So evidently there isn't a modem Subsystem in:

 PCI slot       PCI ID          SubsystemID     Name
 ----------     ---------       ---------       --------------

What is the info that there is in fact a modem on your System?

Send again the output of
$ lspci |  grep -v USB
and don't forget the  "-v"  this time.  We want to EXCLUDE the
numerous USB lines
