Samad,

Your modem seems supported with the slmodemd driver.

Carefully read

http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/Ubuntu/slamr_Read.txt

and download

http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/Ubuntu/slamr-2.6.20-15-generic.tar.gz

and read the instructions given. You should be setup
to go.

$ sudo wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
should find your modem at /dev/ttySL0. Then edit
wvdial.conf and configure your own username, and
password.  Add a line

Carrier Check = no

to your wvdial.conf file. If you have further
difficulties please write back.

Regards,

Antonio
