is obsolete
Get the most recent martian successor from
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/kernel-2.6/martian/
Read the DOCs carefully. The implementation is quite different from
the old ltmodem code. You will have to install the libc2-dev package
of equivalent to support compilation of the martian_modem binary.
Not under Linux now. Check back if you have problems
