smartlinks on debian etch 2.6.18-4-686 on asus W6A (FRANCE)

Hello,

i try to work my modem on asus W6A with debian etch.

i don't undestand why it not appar in lspci :

un use snd-hda-intel with option model=asus

i read it work with snd-intel8x0
i don't know why i do.

it work with Fedora core 6 with slmodemd on device hw:0,6

now in debian the device not found.

i can be upgrade with the new debain testing
