Alexei,

A code fix is likely required concerning:
sysdep.c: In function `linux_timer_create':
sysdep.c:18: error: `__NR_timer_create' undeclared (first use in this function)
sysdep.c:18: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
sysdep.c:18: error: for each function it appears in.)
sysdep.c: In function `linux_timer_settime':
sysdep.c:23: error: `__NR_timer_settime' undeclared (first use in this function)

John,
Thanks for the warning.

I found somewhere on the web where someone claimed to have got 2.6.18 to compile martian, so I'm going to retro-fit 2.6.18 and try some more in case I did something stupid like forgetting to `make clean' or whatever. However, I believe things have been changed around quite a bit since 2.6.18, which is why Slackware isn't going to go with a later kernel.

Most scientists realise that Newton's laws of motion are not
absolute truths but they work okay for getting people to the
moon and back.
