Hello László, thank you for your reply.
I still had discover and currently use a workaround to exit the table,
as for other issues in the application.
I'm sure it's very useful to report all the annoying things, especially regressions.
I follow your suggestion to list bugs/regression, please find enclosed a
summary table. Maybe I recall or discover something else: should it be,
I'll create a new table :-)
Thanks! :)
Your list seems to be quite useful (I've listed at the end of this mail). I've tried to check the reported problems in the bug tracker, and I've found, that the last but one has already been reported, and it is under investigation:
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155211 " Regression: dashed lines become solid when breaking imported SVG / exporting to SVG"
I've created a metabug for Technical writers, and I've added this bug to it:
I would like to ask you to file the other problems, and give this number (156767) to their "Blocks:" field to extend the new metabug.
Regressions can be easily analyzed, as I wrote, so I hope we will get information soon about the other reported problems, too.
The bug tracker will help to ask for more information or suggest workarounds. For example, for #3 (an user-friendly document format/package with linked images) maybe an extended hybrid PDF format could be the solution. (Or is it the solution already?). We can also ask for help from QA and UX experts. For example, #4 bug "Renaming 'Image' to 'Rotation' is really confusing. It would be better to rename it to "Position" or keeping "Image" (at least, if "Link" is there on this pane).
Thanks and best regards,
László
Thanks a lot for your help.
