HTB and codel...

Linux Advanced Routing and Traffic Control

I've a series of linux firewalls setup with scripts that loosly
resamble the 'The Ultimate Traffic Conditioner', with HTB:

I'm using iptables to mark packates, and sfq as qdisc.

By some year, i've also added IFB and outbound policing (via u32
marking).

Two simple (?! ;) question.

1) to use 'codel', it suffices to substitute all qdisc sfq with codel
 qdisc?
Still make sense to me to have packet classification, but i've not
clear if suffices to have codel in the main class (keeping sfq on
subclasses), or it is better/needed to have also on the subclasses.

2) make sense to use codel on ingress, eg on the ifb interface?

Thanks.
