Hmm, this sounds interesting, although it would mean upgrading the kernel
to 2.6 on a router that's hard to get to physically if something goes
wrong.

I'll just keep going with 2.4 and the suboptimal shaper until I have
access to the serial console on the machine (which means installing a
second soekris at the same location.
