Re: [kvmarm-user] unable to boot guest on kvm arm with fast model for cortex-a15

Thanks a lot! It works.
It also worked with two guests (both having same copy of the original filesystem, dtb and kernel), and was able to login to both using ssh simultaneously.
It is faster in booting when used with initrd images. I am really grateful and really appreciate your hard work and quick response to queries.
My one question is: Is there a way to get prolonged license for ARM fast model simulator, as the current one is an evaluation license of 45 days?
Since I am a researcher , my work on this area with KVM will continue for long and hence it would be really helpful if I could use Fast models for long, as long as KVM on ARM is supported only by fast models.

Hi

I tried downloads from the same repository , but still the same error while booting the guest.
I also tried various combinations of host, qemu and guest (binary from repository as well as the self compiled from sources), but it is all the same error while booting the guest.
What could be the problem? I am using Ubuntu 11.04 (64 bit) and was closely following the instructions in the pdf guide.

Have you tried the latest version of the guide, which was uploaded on Saturday (done from scratch without problems on a Ubuntu 12.04 clean installation)?

Also try to stick with the guide as much as possible (same qemu binary, configuration, filesystem and of course kvm branch).
