Yeah, that makes sense. Ummm.... let's see... you tried window decorations? Yeah... your older message sais you did. Ok, i am a little stumped. Window Decorations seems like the place i would look. The other thing i could think of is to make an app that stops window resize. I know how to do that in windows, since shared memory holds that kind of data. Have no idea in linux. Sorry i can't be much help, i'm kind of new myself. I would be better off explaining it from a dev. standpoint, i am familiar more with that. ----- Original Message ----- From: "CiAsA Boark" <ciasaboark@xxxxxxxxx> To: <kde@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, November 16, 2004 10:11 AM Subject: Re: windows resize > On Tue, 16 Nov 2004 15:19:54 -0000, Mark Walker <mark@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > The reason for this is simple. > > > > I don't want my users to be able to change any aspect of the desktop & > > desktop layout I've provided for them. > > > > We have 2 or 3 custom application that run better in konsole or konqueror if > > the window size is not changed. > > > > The reason for not changing the size of an OpenOffice window is to maintain > > a consistant look to the desktop. > > > > So, now I've explained, it is possible and if so how ?? > > Right click on a window title, choose configure window manager -> > window-specific settings > ___________________________________________________ > . > Account management: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde. > Archives: http://lists.kde.org/. > More info: http://www.kde.org/faq.html. > ___________________________________________________ .
