command line tool to access kioslaves

Hi,

Could anyone give me a hint how I use the kio framework from the command line,
so I can not only access remote files, but also list and create folders, stat
files etc. I looked around and asked several people, but no one knows about
such a tool.
The was lots of talking about how to integrate kioslaves directly into the
file system, so I can't believe that there isn't even a simple command line
tool shipped with KDE to access kioslaves in scripts.
But hopefully I just missed something.. did I?

regards
Fred
