This is pretty hard to read. Could you please change to:

        if (reply != DP_AUX_NATIVE_REPLY_ACK) {
                DRM_DEBUG_KMS("Aksv write: no DP_AUX_NATIVE_REPLY_ACK %x\n",
                              reply);
                return -EIO
        }
        return 0;
