I think you have the wrong end of the stick on this one.  If those on the top material wrote the vast majority, there is not a need to claim only editorship.  The boilerplate at the front of the document makes it clear whether or not the document represents IAB consensus (see RFC 7841).

This is as it should be.  Otherwise we are speaking in codes that people outside the club will not understand, and they have a hard enough time as is.
