Hi Rob, all,
This is pretty much the definition of a personal attack. But it's OK with me.
I am fine with it, and I would like Dan to feel free to send further messages along these lines.
That may be the case, but name-calling (“troll” or otherwise) is not appropriate for this mailing list, is inconsistent with BCP 54, and is included in the catalog of behaviors that the IESG has been discussing with the WG chairs about discouraging < https://trac.ietf.org/trac/iesg/wiki/DraftListOfBadBehaviour>. I’m hopeful we can all try to avoid it as best we can.
Regards, Alissa
thanks, Rob

Hello Dan,
I don't think that is a very nice thing to say, but I
like the text formatting.
Is there something that offends you about handing off
IETF matters to a younger and more diverse set of members?
After all, people will retire.
I would like to understand that concern.
It is my contention that you are trolling this list trying to
get a rise out
of people. And I take exception to it. That is my only
concern. It might be
funny for you to see a whole bunch of people start arguing about
"communities"
and their representation and things like that but it's trolling
straight up.
Dan.
