I'm all for keeping jabber.

I'm not sure we need a scribe at all now that we have meetecho and
decent sound,
How do remote participants get their questions asked at the mic line?

Accessibility is a thing. :-)

On the "accessibility" item, I'm wondering if plugging in something like "Live Transcribe" into a jabber room (not the question asking one, but another secondary one) might make sense. Vint showed me the app and I was blown away with its speed (probably can transcribe Ekr or KC) and accuracy.  Unfortunately, only available on a subset of Android devices.
