Don't mind as the end to end principle holds valid forever.

Those who think otherwise do not understand the principle (e.g.
the original paper includes examples of the principle applicable
to telephone networks).

Moreover, inapplicability of Postel's principle for relays does
not cause any interoperability problems if the original sender
is conservative and the final receiver is aggressive.
