Re: Agenda experiment for IETF 103 in November in Bangkok

Folks,

Initially I was at least somewhat positive this experiment, but then I
saw the mails that were connecting this experiment with the mythological
need for IETF participants to leave the meeting site on Friday.

I think if there is a meeting on Friday that the company paying my trip
think I should attend on the Friday. I stay the Friday. If there is
"no meeting" on Friday (yes - you can call it informal) then I believe
that my sponsors would not like to pay an extra hotel night.

I guess this experiment is a no starter.

IMHO, no meeting on Friday doesn’t really facilitate more unstructured discussion as most people will book flight leaving on Friday if no meeting is scheduled on Friday.

Exactly what I was thinking,
