Hmm, last time I tried, I failed to convince either alpine or mutt
to talk to the IMAP server. Is there a wiki page or something where
a known-good configuration lives?

Unrelatedly, I kind-of expected a minority of folks who would be
unhappy that the new mail archive requires javascript in order to
function, though I don't remember anyone mentioning that yet.
(For myself, if the MHonArc archives go away, I'm likely to treat
that as a forcing function to get something talking to the IMAP
server insted of enabling javascript, though of course I do not
expect anyone else to do so.)
