I am not recommending this.

ICANN is changing SSID every meeting, and it is a pain to get the meeting going.

If there is consensus to make the default SSID (let me call that "IETF") IPv6 only, then make "IETF" IPv6 only and add a new SSID that is called something else "WARNING-IPv4-ONLY-YES-I-KNOW-WHAT-I-AM-DOING" or something else that people manually can add and connect to if they have to.
