I would very much prefer that one of them be and outsider, or least a
no-longer practicing participant in the IETF activity. The current
person serving temporarily in the role effectively meets those criterion
modula coworkers who are participants, and an enterprise with a
proprietary interest in the successful functioning of the IETF.
