I think we need to rethink the way we do protocols or the way security WGs do standards. It will be easy to blame/ask the Security Area participants/experts of what was not done or what should been done, however, this area seems more as a cross-area, and I suggest that the IETF re-thinks or re-structures the Security area and/or its WGs' Charteres.
