Oh, I don't know about that - it seems to me that the experimenters
would get the equivalent of 6 months of high profile discussion and
criticism from the likes of Slashdot, Techcrunch and the Register in a
few weeks, and without requiring an expensive product launch. True, if
the experiment was purely technical that would be a pain, but if the
experimenters had commercial intents I think that that would be pretty
valuable.
