Let me make it clear that I would only be suggesting this on the IETF
conference network, and not making any more public than that. i.e.,
doing what is necessary to make a fully functional IPv6 network.
This is really no different than what many companies do to the DNS for
their intranet --- which maybe is a horrible idea from a BIND
perspective, but is in fact quite common (where www.example.com or
w3.example.com might look very different inside or outside the intranet).
And if it causes some embarassing articles about ICANN to show up in
the trade press, I guess at this point I wouldn't mind, terribly.
