Good idea. And actually already implemented some time ago. Looking
at for instance the mip4 charter page, at
http://www.ietf.org/html.charters/mip4-charter.html
there is a line right above the listing of the Chairs which provides
an URL and link:
"Additional information is available at tools.ietf.org/wg/mip4"
I think that's what you were looking for?

This refers to the link in the opposite direction, from tools.ietf.org
to www.ietf.org, which is also good to have, but not what Dave was
asking for, I think...
