I'd just like to say that I'm not at all sure being an AD is a full
time job.  It certainly sometimes is.

I really haven't settled in yet and my day job and personal life has
been in enough flux I'm not sure how much time being an AD takes up or
how much time I can depend on being able to make for my day job.  I
suspect the steady state answer is less than full time and not zero.
However I'm going to need to do a bit more research to find out;)
