DST seems to be a popular topic, and I'm sure Carsten will have helped at least one person avoid missed appointments this month.
Are all these messages in scope of the IETF list?
RFC 9245 says some of this can be: "Questions and clarifications concerning practical aspects of IETF meetings, although most of these topics are better brought up on the discussion list for ... the attendee discussion list for a given IETF meeting."
But when venturing onto the history of DST or its effects beyond the IETF world, I suspect we fall into "Discussion of subjects unrelated to IETF policy, meetings, activities, or technical topics" and hence out of scope.
So if you'd like to follow up, please consider carefully to which list or lists it should be directed.
