Inbound email will continue to work over both ipv4 + ipv6, as this is something we have control over.
The ipv6 issue only affects outbound emails from AWS SES.

Will this also affect *inbound* mail to ietf.org?
Currently hosted at mail.ietf.org by, IIRC, AMSL, *receiving* mail via
both IPv4 and IPv6, over DANE-authenticated TLS connections, when the
sending system is DANE-enabled:
