+1 for Minneapolis.

Minneapolis is the only location that I can recall where I missed my connecting flight back to Europe.  The problem was the delay at Minneapolis loading the trophies that had been gathered by some hunters.  Locations with direct connections - e.g. Atlanta - are better from that point of view.  Nice as it is to be in Minneapolis - there is a bookshop and a bridge  I would like to revisit - getting home in reasonable time trumps that.
