This is one for which we lean on HTTP.  I've added an explicit note to that effect.

https://www.rfc-editor.org/materials/abbrev.expansion.txt lists AEAD now, so I think that means we can avoid expanding it.  It really doesn't help that much to provide the expansion - the acronym isn't very helpful.

These were noted by other reviewers.
