Larry, based on the last document with which I went through
AUTH48 (in the first half of 2020), it wasn't clear who, if
anyone, was responsible for checking the different formats and
renderings.  Of course, the theory is that, if the XML is
correct, everything else should take care of itself.   I haven't
felt it would be useful to try to push on that before the new
model was in place although, back then, I hadn't dreamed it
would take this long.   But I agree with you that review should
be done and that we need to think about how to do it, ideally
without over-stretching or over-stressing the RPC.
