    Mandatory is a single-byte option that marks the immediately

    option is O.  Then the Mandatory option has no effect if the

    connection using Reset Code 6, "Mandatory Failure".

In other places this reset code is refered as "Mandatory Error".

Yep, you are right, in Section 5.6 reset code 6 is defined as
"Mandatory Error", and in Section 5.8.2 reset code 6 is referred to as
"Mandatory Failure".  I will put that in an Errata, calling it
"Mandatory Error" in both places.
