I try to use debian build tools and uses source from : http://packages.qa.debian.org/l/linux.html The problem is, that they have not released an experimental 3.14 kernel yet, i hope they will do that soon. So either have the problem been fixed between 3.14rc7 and 3.14 mainstream, or one of the debian patched are doing more damage than good in the Debian kernel build. Thanks for trying, this is valuable information. Could you post you full thinkpad_acpi.c patch against 3.14, that would be a big help ?
