WARN() from the kernel *is* supposed to be something you better pay attention to, but maybe the fear factor the "kerneloops" utility is employing when notifying the users of the WARN is a bit too strong :) In fact, I used WARN() because it was just about the _only_ way I'd ever get to know if something wierd is happening before I removed those attributes, maybe breaking userspace badly. As you can see, it worked very well :-) I would appreciate a lot if you keep me posted about this issue, it is important to me to know whay something would be accessing thinkpad-acpi's sysfs files, especially the deprecated ones. -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
