various hotkeys fail to work. Brightness up and brightness down are inverted. 
Volume up/down and Mute do not work.

I'm reporting this bug upstream as Matt Zimmermann suggested me at
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hotkey-setup/+bug/222796

Moreover I see at http://ibm-acpi.sourceforge.net/ that the SL500 is not even 
listed in the supported models table, but other unsupported models are 
listed, so this could be a bug report or a request to add the model to that 
table, just in case it's not supported, in order to save others the time to 
look for a working acpi module...
