That sounds like a driver/hardware specific item and not really a
generic hostapd question.. In other words, you'll likely have better
chances of getting answers from whoever provides you that driver than
this mailing list.

We can sustain about 1.3Gbps throughput using that zcomax and our driver/firmware.

For that matter, probably stock driver/firmware would perform similarly.

You might check the association and related messages to see if it is properly
negotiating /HT rates, and check with a sniff or looking at station tx/rx
stats to see if it is using nice encoding rates.
