The 2nd line (ricoh-ms mincho-...) is, nothing to say, Japanese font bundled to MS Windows that Microsoft denies to use it on other operating system, you cannot use. The 3rd line should match with so-called k14 font, whose full X core font name is: -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--14-130-75-75-c-140-jisx0208.1983-0 If you have k14.pcf.gz (and -misc-fixed-...-jisx0208.1983-0 is included in fonts.dir file in the same directory), there might be something wrong in font accessing, althought gtk may know right font name. Checking by xlsfonts, xfontsel is needed. Regards, mpsuzuki _______________________________________________ gtk-list@xxxxxxxxx http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-list
