Hello Jan! :) No, the call gets connected at 10Mbps - that is the limit and is what when I do printcurrentcallsverbose says. But still, even half of it - each way, would be more than enough. I have investigated some more … with some packet captures and wireshark. The problem I have found - is that they connect using H.261 (not H.263 or H.264). So I guess for H.261 is ok to connect to 448p @ 375Kbps. Now, I have recompiled ffmpeg, ptlib and h323plus - and in the end gnugk - 10 times. Although I read on the internet lots of times that GnuGk doesn’t have to be aware of H.263 and H.264 apparently it is. Another tests: When I take them out of gatekepeer mode - In a direct call between 2 endpoints they connect to 720p @ 4Mbps When the equips are in gatekeeper mode - still a direct call between 2 endpoints they connect to 448p @ 375Kbps I also read a lot of posts explaining why h323plus doesn’t come with h.263 and h.264 and stuff … they are modules, and not in the h323plus library. Trying to keep this mail short - I think the problem appears in the lack of h.263 and h.264 from h323plus. Do you have any ideas what to test or debug? Thank you!
