Thanks for the info! now I am trying to compile gnugk-3.0 as the following:
- got source code from here: http://openh323gk.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/openh323gk/
- installed MySQL5.5 and mysql-connector-c++-1.1.0
- double-click gk_2010 to open it with visualstudio 2010 Ultimate
when I build gnugk project, it stays in "Searching C:\" for long time and cannot pass this point, the following is the output of visualstudio:

could you tell me if I need to install more database library? do I need to set the configure so the database library could be found?
also can I build gnugk-3.0 with ptlib-2.10.1 and h323plus-v1_23_0? do I need to import the lib files of ptlib and h323plus into gnugk project? Thanks!
