If I can't get the Ekiga to work tomorrow morning I will look into these other clients. However, I need the system to be able to handle unregistered calls. Marvin Firstly don't use Ekiga it has known H.323 issues especially registering to GnuGk . There are a number of other more compatible and stable clients Jan mentioned earlier. I would recommend Mirial www.mirial.com as a good start or another client that supports RouteCallToGateway like Spranto. Make sure your client is registered to the gatekeeper when you call the IP address and you have EXPLICIT in your [RoutingPolicy] section.
