Hi Wayne,

I think the most important advice I can give you, is not to use
Netmeeting. The H.323 implementation is really terrible.
If you are looking for a free softphone, take a look at PacPhone or at
a commercial softphone like Polycom PVX, Mirial Softphone or VCON
vPoint.

How to get a centrally updated directory into the softphone depends very
much on which product you decide choose. Some support H.350 directories
or generic LDAP, but it can be rather difficult.

Radius authentication can be done in GnuGk, take a look at the
RadAuth module:
