Testing and Debugging Failover...

Migrating our actual GNUGK from version 2.2.6 to 2.3.1 presents a bunch
of challenges...

Not that there are so many differences in configurations... they can be
reused without functionality lost (thanks for that), but many new
options are presented and since either one chose brings a chain of
others behind it...

I already where able to build a pretty good SQL query and debugging it
with level 5 gives all messages necessary to confirm it's work. Now I'm
playing with fail over. As the SQL query can return from 1 to many
responses, I'm trying to configure it, but am not capable to identify if
it is working (failing through the many possible responses).

So, the question is: how debug if the configuration is correct without
the necessity of configure/simulate the whole production environment?
Does increasing debug level do the job? Does debug show the SQL-query
response and show how it would being walked through? Which level of
debug gives such information? I tried level 10 and nothing pops on the
LOG file....
