Re: Quintum behind nat

Hello Teodor,

The error that I pasted below is one that shows with the latest Firmware
from Quintum (A400 and A800 first generation) P4-2-20-40(LEC). Everybox
that we have behaves in this way right now (temp solution is a local
gnugk right next to quintum that then registers to public gnugk)

The sceneario is very simple, quintum tries to register, gnugk sees the
registration and sends registration confirmation.

Quintum ---> Nat (aDSL) --> Public IP Gnugk (2.2.3)

I have all ports 1718,1719 UDP and 1720 TCP forwarded to the internal IP
of the quintum.

This setup works with with 2.0.3-5 Gnugk, but after 2.0.6 (I think) it
does not work. Quintum message bellow:

> EXCP   : 15840984:syMFree failed: proc id = 0x2c ptr = 0x0, err_code =
> 0xffffffff ret_addr = 0x4705e4
> RAS    : 15840984:
> [ch] RAS v3 impl. also failed(Ret=5). return badmsg

Gnugk logs:

> unknownMessageResponse {
>    requestSeqNum = 65535
>    messageNotUnderstood =  0 octets {
>    }
>  }
> 2005/09/04 07:05:15.086 1             RasSrv.cxx(343)   RAS
> UnknownMessageResponse Received

I enabled the following separately and also combined in all sorts of
combinations

gnugk.ini settings related to this

SupportNATedEndpoints=1

[NATedEndpoints]
1234=allow   and also
1234=10.0.0.3

[Proxy]
Enable=1
ProxyForNAT=1

Quintum config

config gksys# Use IP Header Address = yes(1) (and no 0 makes no difference)
config h323gw# primarygkaddr 197.x.x.x (standard setup)
