GNUGK config question

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

Yesterday, we installed Gnugk-2.2.3 from CVS on FreeBSD-5.4-STABLE as
2005/06/23.

We are using HP Proliant ML370 server with Dual 3.06GHz CPU, 1GB RAM,
73GB HDD.

1.How many concurrent calls can to handle on this hardware (direct
routed, gatekeeper routed, full proxy mode)?

2.Is there any tool make measure/generate concurrent calls?

3.We are trying to use Gnugk for following scenarios.
=====================================

a.PSTN<----AS5300<-----Gnugk<-----AS5300<----Oversea partner AS5300,
Quintum D3000, Vocaltec gatekeeper, Nextone session controller, H323
gatekeeper from Cosmobridge, H323 gatekeeper based on
PWLib/OpenH323Lib

b.PSTN---->AS5300----->Gnugk----->Oversea partner AS5300, Quintum
D3000, Vocaltec gatekeeper, Nextone session controller, H323 gatekeeper
from Cosmobridge, H323 gatekeeper based on PWLib/OpenH323Lib

c.PSTN<----AS5300<-----Gnugk<-----Oversea partner AS5300, Quintum
D3000, Vocaltec gatekeeper, Nextone session controller, H323 gatekeeper
from Cosmobridge, H323 gatekeeper based on PWLib/OpenH323Lib

We need to setup first scenario during 1-2 weeks time before completely
move termination traffic to Gnugk.

Second/third scenario planning after complete move
termination/origination traffic to Gnugk.

Any suggestion on scenario?

Today, we tried to get work first scenario, but we see problem. I think
we made mistake on configuration. Don't know which one is wrong.

How can we to get work first scenario?

If possible second/third scenario sample config too?
