Re: Call Manager Nightmares

We have gnugk at our office (our engineers write software to complement
CCM) running against every version of CCM (same gnugk). 4.1.3 is the
latest version we have running. Well, we have a CCM per engineer, so
about 30 of them, and we use GK to talk to all of the CCMs and Asterisk
boxes on our network.

Is 4.1 the only version you cannot get to work?

Internally, we use CCM for our IP phones so we can chew our own food,
but use asterisk fro VM and IVR functionality. We are a pure Linux
shop. Our PRI is MGCP controlled by our production CCM cluster. Calls
from CCM phones work fine, but SIP phones dialing from Asterisk -> oh323
-> gk -> CCM -> PRI get dropped after a few seconds of trying. Asterisk
get DRQ from gatekeeper and drops the calls. Inbound to SIP works just
fine though - bad because I work from home a lot, so wee ended up having
to use a Broadvoice number for outbound SIP with this config..
