OK, but why it does occur *only* with fast-start enabled (with slow-start it just works) on a 12.3 IOS? The only reason I could figure out, is that the H225 SETUP packet with fast-start mode is larger than the one in slow-start mode (because of the H245 tunelling inside the H225 packet). The tcpdump capture is taken directly from the GnuGK Linux server. As you see, the H225 SETUP packet arrives in order at the GnuGK side, but is sent out as malformed.
