  I have same problem too.

  I'm have   eth2:   192.168.x.x
  and alias  eth2:1  195.16.x.x

  gateway  have ip  217.107.x.x

  gnugk trying to open rtp stream to this gateway from 
ip-address 192.168.x.x and failed, while signalling work fine
from right ip-address 195.16.x.x

  I'm rotate eth2 and eth2:1 and now all work fine.
