Chetan,

I just encountered this error myself today on a
GNUGK (2.2.1) that's been running fine for months.

BUT, we changed our DNS recently.

The error "Can't get profile for neighbor xxxx"
is a DNS problem.

You can put GK1.yourdomain.com in the /etc/hosts file for Unix
or \windows\syste32\etc\drivers\host file for windows.

What domain is it trying to use? Where does it get the domain name from? Our domain is set correctly on the system and "hostname -d" returns it. gk1.domain.com is in dns and resolves properly on that machine. I've also tried putting it in /etc/hosts and no luck.

Using the old-style syntax works however.

Thanks

Chetan
