   Thanks. Any idea why the CVS version of 2.2.2 doesn't read the configuration file anymore? Anything I can do to narrow down the location of the bug?
Things I forgot to mention:
1. I believe the command line parameters are read correctly as the trace log is being created where it should be and it is highly verbose (-tttttt) so the -t and -o options were read correctly.
2. I tried to create a new configuration with only
[Gatekeeper::Main]
Fourtytwo=42
and it still didn't work.
3. the verbose logs show nothing but the fact that gnugk started in default configuration mode.
