Most people are better of >using 2.2.x. Thanks. Any idea why the CVS version of 2.2.2 doesn't read the configuration file anymore? Anything I can do to narrow down the location of the bug? Things I forgot to mention: 1. I believe the command line parameters are read correctly as the trace log is being created where it should be and it is highly verbose (-tttttt) so the -t and -o options were read correctly. 2. I tried to create a new configuration with only [Gatekeeper::Main] Fourtytwo=42 and it still didn't work. 3. the verbose logs show nothing but the fact that gnugk started in default configuration mode. ---- Home, no matter how far... http://www.home.ro ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
